I. Demand communication and quotation
1. Demand collection: Customers contact the factory by phone, online platform or on-site visit, and the business staff records the customer's demand for aluminum foil products in detail, including specifications (thickness, width, length), material (alloy type), surface treatment (coating, embossing, etc.), purpose, order quantity and delivery time.
2. Technical evaluation: The technical team evaluates the feasibility of production based on customer needs and analyzes whether special processes or equipment are required. If there are special requirements, further communicate with the customer to confirm the details.
3. Cost accounting and quotation: According to the results of the technical evaluation, combined with the price of raw materials, production costs, transportation costs, etc., calculate the product cost, formulate a quotation plan, and provide customers with a detailed quotation sheet and product specifications.
II. Contract signing and order confirmation
4. Contract drafting: After the two parties reach an agreement on terms such as price, product specifications, quality standards, delivery time, payment method, after-sales service, etc., the legal department drafts a formal contract.
5. Contract signing: The customer signs a contract with the factory, and the customer pays an advance payment (generally 30% - 50% of the order amount). After the factory confirms the receipt of the payment, it formally confirms the order, enters the order information into the production management system, and starts the production process.
III. Raw material procurement and inspection
6. Procurement plan formulation: The production planning department formulates a raw material procurement plan based on order requirements, clarifies the brand, specifications, quantity, delivery time and other requirements of the purchased aluminum ingots, and sends it to the procurement department.
7. Supplier selection and procurement: The procurement department gives priority to long-term cooperation and reputable suppliers to purchase aluminum ingots, signs procurement contracts, and ensures that the raw materials are supplied on time, according to quality and quantity.
8. Raw material inspection: After the raw materials arrive, the quality inspectors strictly inspect the chemical composition, mechanical properties, surface quality, etc. of the aluminum ingots according to national standards and internal inspection specifications of the enterprise. Qualified raw materials are put into storage for standby. Unqualified raw materials are returned immediately, and the supplier is required to replenish the goods to ensure that the production progress is not affected.
IV. Production and Processing
9. Production Scheduling: The production planning department formulates a detailed production scheduling plan based on order priority, equipment status, staffing and other factors, and assigns production tasks to each production workshop and production line.
10. Melting and Casting: The qualified aluminum ingots are put into the melting furnace, melted according to the set temperature and time, and alloy elements are added to adjust the composition to ensure that the aluminum liquid meets the product quality requirements. The smelted aluminum liquid is cast into aluminum billets by casting equipment.
11. Rolling: The aluminum billet is initially rolled through a hot rolling mill to achieve a certain thickness and size. Then cold rolling is carried out to gradually reduce the thickness of the aluminum foil, and through multiple rolling passes, the specifications required by the customer are achieved. During the rolling process, the rolling speed, tension, temperature and other parameters are strictly controlled to ensure the thickness uniformity, surface quality and mechanical properties of the aluminum foil.
12. Surface treatment (if necessary): According to customer needs, the aluminum foil is surface treated, such as coating, embossing, printing, etc. Coating treatment can improve the barrier properties, corrosion resistance or printability of the aluminum foil. Embossing treatment gives aluminum foil a specific pattern and texture. Printing treatment can print the patterns and texts required by customers on the surface of aluminum foil.
13. Slitting and rewinding: The rolled aluminum foil is slit according to the width and length required by the customer, and then rewound into aluminum foil rolls of specified specifications. During the slitting and rewinding process, the surface quality of the aluminum foil is strictly checked and defective parts are removed.
V. Quality Inspection
14. Process Inspection: During the production process, quality inspectors conduct patrol inspections of each production link, check the implementation of process parameters, equipment operation status and semi-finished product quality, and promptly discover and correct quality problems in the production process.
15. Finished product inspection: After production is completed, the finished aluminum foil is fully inspected. According to the quality standards agreed in the contract and relevant national standards, the inspection items include thickness tolerance, width tolerance, mechanical properties (tensile strength, elongation, etc.), surface quality (whether there are scratches, wrinkles, oil stains, etc.), core quality, etc. For batches that fail the sampling inspection, a full inspection is carried out to pick out unqualified products, analyze the reasons and rework them.
16. Issue a quality inspection report: For qualified products, the quality inspection department will issue a detailed quality inspection report and send it to the customer along with the goods as proof of the qualified product quality.
VI. Packaging and delivery
17. Packaging: Select appropriate packaging materials and packaging methods according to product characteristics and transportation requirements. Generally, plastic film, kraft paper or special aluminum foil packaging film is used to wrap the aluminum foil roll, and the outside is reinforced with cartons or wooden boxes to prevent damage during transportation. Paste a label on the package, indicating the product name, specifications, quantity, production date, customer name and other information.
18. Logistics arrangement: According to customer requirements and delivery location, select a suitable transportation method (such as road transportation, railway transportation, sea transportation, etc.), sign a transportation contract with the logistics company, and arrange shipment. Before shipment, inform the customer of the shipping information (including the license plate number of the transport vehicle, the driver's contact information, the estimated arrival time, etc.) to facilitate the customer to prepare for the delivery.
19. Arrival confirmation: After the goods arrive at the customer's designated location, assist the customer in acceptance and check the product quantity, specifications and quality. After the customer confirms that everything is correct, he/she signs the receipt and the delivery is completed.
VII. After-sales service
20. Customer feedback processing: Establish a customer feedback channel to promptly collect questions and suggestions raised by customers during use. For quality issues reported by customers, respond within 24 hours, send technicians to the site within 48 hours to handle, analyze the causes and propose solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
21. Product after-sales tracking: Regularly visit customers to understand product usage and customer satisfaction, collect customer opinions and suggestions on product quality, service, etc., and provide a basis for continuous improvement of product and service quality.
